Students from the Uni Stuttgart (Germany) built in cooperation with AMK and Kistler an electric car with the highest acceleration ever. Their speed monster is even faster than a Formula 1 racer and only needs 1.779 seconds from 0-100 km/h (60 mph).
I could imagine that this vehicle produced in series would be relatively cheap. Although it looks a bit strange, it is definitely now on my "must have - list".
